RECVIEM

De astă dată
a murit cineva prin vecini

Recviem
în parcul cenuşiu
sub cerul mohorît
Femeile au pornit în urma trupului stins
moartea a rămas în odaia pustie
şi a tras perdeaua

Vedeţi
lumea a mai scăpat
de povara unui creier omenesc

Tihnită tăcere după masa de prînz
copilul desculţ stă aşezat în poartă
şi mănîncă struguri

Dar cine rămîne supus
acestei pierderi

Nu vă zoriţi cu moartea
nimeni nu seamănă cu nimeni
copiii noştri se gîndesc la jucării

Şi la plecare nu vă luaţi rămas-bun
e de rîs
şi batjocură

Adesso
qualcuno e morto nelle vicinanze

Requiem
nel parco griggio
sotto il cielo scuro
Le donne sono partite dietro al spento corpo
la morte e rimasta nella vuota stanza
e ha lasciato la tenda

Vedete
il mondo si e sbarazzato
dal peso di un cervello umano

Calmo silenzio dopo pomeriggio
il bambino scalzo sta alla porta
e mangia uva

Ma chi si rasegna
a questa perdita

Non fare a fretta con la morte
nessuno rassomiglia nessuno
i nostri bambini pensano ai giocattoli

E alla partenza non dire arrivederci
e una beffa

This time
someone has died in the neighbourhood

Requiem
in the grey park
under the gloomy sky
The women went behind the extinguished body
the death remained in the empty room
and dropped the curtain

You see
the world has got rid 
of the burden of another human brain

Peaceful silence of afternoon
the bare-feeted child is standing at the gate
and is eating grapes

But who is resigned
to this loss

Don't hurry up with the death
no one resembles no one
our children think of toys

And when you go away don't say good-bye
it's mockery
