Călătorule, sunt urmele tale
drumul şi nimic mai mult ;
călătorule, nu există drum,
drumul se face mergînd.
Mergînd doar croieşti cărare,
iar de te uiţi înapoi,
vezi poteca ce nicicînd
n-ai s-o mai străbaţi, mergînd.
Călătorule, nu există drum,
ci doar urme peste mare.

Traveller, your footprints are
the road, and nothing more ;
traveller, there is no road,
the road is done walking.
Only walking you open a path
and when you look back
you see the path that never
you'll cross, walking.
