PÎNDARUL SUFERINŢEI
Vedem la televizor un om înfometat. El nu ne vede.
Privirea i se pierde-n spaţiul întunecat.
Apelurile se distrug reciproc. Iar noi ne scufundăm
cu mare compătimire în fotoliile noastre confortabile.
Timpul a stat şi pentru el, şi pentru noi
cei care stăm pironiţi la gura infernului.
THE SPY OF SUFFERING
We see on television a hungry man.He doesn't see us.
His look is lost in the dark space.
The calls destroy each other. And we sink
with great compassion in our confortable chairs.
The time has stopped for him, as for us
those who staunchly stand at the door of hell.
