ÎMI TRĂIESC VIAŢA
Îmi trăiesc viaţa în cercuri ce cresc,
ce peste lucruri se-ntind şi trec.
Pe cel din urmă poate că nu-l împlinesc,
dar vreau şi pe el să-l încerc.
În jurul Domnului, turlă străbună,
mă rotesc de milenii, mereu ;
şi tot nu ştiu încă : sunt un şoim, o furtună,
sau un cîntec mare şi greu ?
I LIVE MY LIFE
I live my life in circles which grow,
and over the things are spreding and go.
The last, perhaps, I shall not fulfill,
but I want to try still.
Around the Lord, ancient tower,
I constantly turn from milleniums,
and I don't know yet : Am I a falcon, a storm,
or a great and heavy song ?
